Seasonal Weather Policy

Your dog’s safety and enjoyment always come first! On extreme weather days (below -20°C or above +30°C), I may shorten walks, offer pee breaks, indoor enrichment, or reschedule as needed. I’ll always communicate with you if plans need to change.

How many dogs do you walk at one time?

It depends entirely on the dogs! I build compatible groups based on temperament, play style, walking pace, and social preferences. I never walk more dogs than I can safely supervise, pick up after, and give proper attention to — especially off-leash.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations are free if made by 4 PM the Friday prior or due to emergency situations. Otherwise, the regular walk rate applies. I do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings and changes when possible.

What does my dog need to join off-leash group walks?

  • Up-to-date vaccinations or proof of titer testing

  • A current City of Calgary license

  • No history — or a fully disclosed history — of aggression

  • A reliable recall (all new dogs start on-leash)

  • I always carry treats to reinforce positive behaviours!

What training tools do you use?

Short answer: it depends on the dog! I’m judgment-free and happy to work with your existing training plan. All tools must be properly fitted. If a tool is unsafe, I may use a backup martingale or slip lead.
Note: Prong collars and head halters must be worn with a secondary backup clip for safety.

Do you offer full days or daycare?

Yes! Full-day care is perfect for high-energy dogs or if you're out for the day. Your dog joins me for all planned walks (minimum 2 hours total) and can be picked up and dropped off by me. Weekend daycare is also available — reach out to chat details

What if my dog doesn’t like other dogs or is reactive?

No problem! I have extensive experience with reactive and dog-selective dogs. I’m happy to follow your training plan and will always ensure your dog has safe, positive experiences while in my care.

How do you access my home?

I’ll need either a door code or a labeled key (with your dog’s name only, no personal info). If there’s no backup entry method, I may make a duplicate for emergencies. All keys are returned if services end.

When do you walk?

  • Monday–Friday:

    • Weekends: Regular walks are not scheduled, but I offer weekend walks by request for an additional charge.

What should I bring? When do you walk?

  • For walks a secure (preferably martingale) collar is all I need from you! I do ask that on wet or muddy days you supply additional towels so I can dry your pup!

  • Boarding - please refer to our “boarding“ page selectable in the drop down services menu

  • Training:

    • Secure collar

    • 6ft leash

    • treats your pup loves

    • toys your pup loves

Note: I do not take on temporary clients for group walks during holiday periods. A minimum of 2 walks/week (excluding holidays) is required to join group walks. Private walks are available upon request.
